So we had the most gorgeous sunset on Tuesday night. This is the view of it from my backyard, I am certainly no photographer, so hopefully my photo does it justice!
I love a great sunset, reminds you of how beautiful things can be.
Just had to add this photo of Elliott studying his bit of cheese intently before devouring it! He was doing it with every bit of cheese that I gave him......not sure what was going through his head, but it looked interesting.
With the ridiculously hot weather earlier in the week, we finally got to make use of the kids pool. DH got in there with them 'just to make sure they were ok'.
They were in there for over an hour, and would have stayed in much longer if they weren't turning into prunes! We had also reapplied the sunscreen what felt like 20 times by the time they got out, so that was enough for the day. Hopefully we get to use it a lot more over the next month or so.
It has been a relatively quiet week actually, apart from the odd stray rabbit appearing in our backyard. The rabbit actually turned out to be an escapee from our next door neighbours yard. It was very tame and quite cute actually. It did keep Emily entertained for quite a bit of the day. Initially I was wondering why she was rabbiting (sorry hehe) on about being a rabbit, and constantly talking about rabbits. Then I heard her say 'Hello rabbit' which made me look outside a bit more closely when I saw it hopping around our yard.
Hopefully next week will bring something more exciting for me to share with you all!
